Tutoring at TUKORS is a move that will take your education career to the next level, but also raise your income. Setting the price of lessons is thus an important task. 

All tutors at TUKORS decide their lesson price. You can determine your lesson price by taking into consideration your ability and experience when registering on the platform. Once you have done this, the registered lesson price and your profile will be disclosed in FindTutor.

Your tuition fee registration is complete when you fill out your profile after signing up as a tutor. In the Basic Information Registration window, you can see the following items.

Lesson prices are based on an hourly rate, and the standard currency for lesson price is USD. You can enter a minimum of $10 and a maximum of $100 per hour.

The currency used in TUKORS is USD. Your lesson prices are announced to students in USD, and the students pay in USD. TUKORS also settles the lesson prices accumulated in your account in USD. This helps avoid the loss of funds due to double/multiple conversions that may occur when using different currencies.

When determining your lesson price, it is recommended that you take into consideration the Service Fee paid to TUKORS. The service fee deducts a certain amount from the tuition fee you charge. If you set an hourly lesson price rate of $20, teach for one hour, and the service fee is 30%, the actual amount credited to your account is $14.

Even after setting the lesson price, you can change it whenever you want. However, frequent changes or sudden changes in lesson prices can cause disputes with your students, so please consider this when initially deciding upon your lesson price.

가격을 설정할 때 알아야 할 지침

TUKORS에서의 튜터 활동은 당신의 교육 커리어를 한단계 끌어올리기 위한 활동이기도 하지만 소득을 올리기 위한 활동이기도 합니다. 레슨 가격 설정은 여러분들의 소득에 영향을 미치는 중요한 행위입니다.

TUKORS의 모든 튜터는 수업료를 본인이 스스로 결정합니다. 당신의 능력과 경력 그리고 본인이 생각하는 적정 강의료 수준을 고려하여 수업료를 결정하고 플랫폼에 등록할 수 있습니다. 그러면 등록된 수업료는 당신의 프로필과 함께 튜터 찾기에서 공개됩니다.

당신의 수업료 등록은 튜터 가입 후 프로필을 작성할 때 합니다. Basic information 등록 창에서 아래와 같은 항목을 볼 수 있습니다.

수업료는 시간당 비용을 기준으로 하고, 입력되는 수업료의 기준은 USD입니다. 시간당 수업료는 최소 $10, 최대 $100까지 입력할 수 있습니다. 

TUKORS에서 통용되는 통화는 USD입니다. 당신의 수업료는 학생들에게 USD로 안내되고, 학생들은 USD로 수업료를 지불합니다. TUKORS에서도 당신의 계정에 적립된 수업료를 USD로 정산해줍니다. 그럼으로써 다를 통화를 사용할 때 발생할지도 모르는 이중/다중 변환으로 인한 자금 손실을 방지합니다.

수업료를 결정할 시 TUKORS에 지불하는 서비스 수수료를 고려하여 수업료를 설정하는 것이 좋습니다. 서비스 수수료는 당신이 설정한 수업료에서 일정 금액을 공재합니다. 만약 시간당 수업료를 $20로 설정하였고 1시간의 수업을 진행하였는데 서비스 수수료가 30%일 경우, 당신의 어카운트에 적립되는 실제 금액은 $14입니다.

수업료를 설정한 이후에도 당신의 수업료는 당신이 원할 때 변경 가능합니다. 하지만 수업료의 잦은 변경이나 급격한 변경은 학생과의 분쟁의 원인이 되니 가급적 처음 수업료를 정할 때 신중하게 생각하여 결정하시기 바랍니다.
