Learn about platform service fees

Tutors using the TUKORS platform pay part of their tuition fees to TUKORS in the form of service fees. That's why it's essential to familiarize yourself with the service fee model before you start working as a tutor.

Tutors can join TUKORS for free and TUKORS does not charge for profile hosting. Service fees are charged only when students book a tutor's lesson and the student pays the tuition to the tutor.

TUKORS applies the same fee model for both tutorial lessons and regular lessons. The fee model charges a service fee as a percentage of the tuition fee, and the rate is determined by the tutor's total lesson hours taught on the platform.

The more hours you teach at TUKORS, the lower your service fee rate.

The service fee percentage starts at 30% when you first begin your lesson and goes down to 18% as you continue. Once the student in charge is found and begins regular lessons, you will see that the total number of instructional hours increases rapidly, and the service fee rate gradually decreases.

It's a good idea to consider fees when setting your hourly tuition rate.

You will deduct a service fee of 18% to 30% from your tuition and receive only the remaining payment as a lecture fee. After removing the service fee, please set your hourly tuition rate by considering how much you will have left.
